Bonnie F. Runyon, 63 of W. Main St., West Union departed this life on Monday, July 9, 2012 in the Salem Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on March 3, 1949 at New Milton a daughter of the late Blakely and Sylvia Kelley Nicholson. On December 11, 1976 she married Michael Runyon who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Kenna Runyon, Gulf Port, MI, one daughter, Crystal Lau and husband William, West Union, six grandchildren, Cody, Cory, Carter and Collan Runyon and David and Samuel Lau and one sister, Connie Jo Weekley, New Milton. One brother, Robert Nicholson and one sister, Lula Schulte preceded her in death.
Mrs. Runyon was a member of First Assembly of God, West Union. She was a 1967 graduate of Doddridge County High School and had been employed by Myles Manufacturing as a seamstress and the Ford Motor Company as an assembly line worker. Bonnie enjoyed reading her Bible and working puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
A celebration of her life was held in the First Assembly of God, 203 Neely Ave. West Union on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 6:00PM with Pastor Jeff Stefanov presiding.
