Bonnie Marie Plum Knotts, 87, of Childers Manor, West Union departed this life on Thursday, April 3, 2014 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. She was born April 1, 1927 in Alvy a daughter of the late Edward and Ila Mae Seese Morgan.Surviving are two daughters, Jeanette Smith and husband Robert, West Union, Debra Jett and husband, Ronald, Big Flint, two sons, Clyde Plum, Orlando, FL, Alan Plum, Edinburg, VA, two sisters, Mildred Roy, Smithburg community, Judy Morgan, Parkersburg, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Pete and Charles Plum, two sisters, Doris Cosenza, Barbara Fetty and three brothers, Leroy, Junior and Eddie A. Morgan. Bonnie was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading. She attended the Red Oak United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family.Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Monday, April 4, 2014 at 11AM with Pastor David McCauley presiding. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Monday, April 4, 2014 after 9AM until time of service. Committal service will be conducted at 3PM in the Parson's City Cemetery, Parsons.
