Betty Lee Willis

Betty L. Willis, 86 of New Matamoras, OH passed away in the Woodsfield Nursing & Rehab.Center, Woodsfield, OH. She was born on July 6, 1926 in West Union a daughter of the late Samuel and Ottie Mae Myers Ferrell. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Fred Willis whom she married on July 12, 1958.

Also surviving are two sons, Bob Seese, Akron, OH, Jed Willis and wife Trudy, South Amhest, OH, 3 grandchildren, Amanda Rey, Norton, OH, Alex and John Willis, South Amherst, OH, 2 great grandchildren, Allison and Jason Rey, Norton, OH, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert M. Seese,
3 brothers and sisters.

Betty was United Methodist by faith and had attended the New Matamoras United Methodist Church and was a member of the West Union Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #56.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11:00AM with Pastor David McCauley presiding. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 4-8PM and after 9AM on Friday until time of service.
