Bernice Louise Carroll

Bernice Louise Carroll, 84 of Sherwood passed away at her home on Friday, January 26, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tyler County on February 7, 1933 a daughter of the late Carl and Nora Wells Weekley. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Howard Gail Carroll, their four children, Howard Gregory Carroll, Sherwood, Jeffrey Allen Carroll and wife Karen, Charleston, William Bradley Carroll and companion Vivian, Lake Floyd, Gale Lynn Brown and companion Paul, Sedalia, sisters, Hilda Culton and husband Richard, Orange Grove, CA, Wanda Tennant and husband Jim, Middlebourne, brothers, James Weekley and wife Connie, West Union, Clifford "Tip" Weekley and wife Toby, West Union, 7 grandchildren, Kristy, Robby, Heather, Britney, Bethany, Caitlin and Leah, 4 great grandchildren, Gunnar, Willow, Dora and Brandy. Three brothers preceded her in death, Walter, Keith and Cleston Weekley.



Mrs. Carroll was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family. Bernice was a member of Cascara United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.



Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 1:00PM with Pastor Denver Burnside presiding. Interment will follow in the Freeman Cemetery, Rt. 18 N. West Union. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 2-8PM and after 9AM on Tuesday until time of service.
