Beatrice "Bea" Greathouse

Beatrice "Bea" Greathouse, 73, of Sunnyside Rd. West Union departed this life on Saturday, July 29, 2017 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 21, 1944 at Elkins the daughter of the late Roscoe and Opal Thomas Blizzard. On October 29, 1965 she married Randall H. Greathouse who preceded her in death on March 8, 2017.

Surviving is one daughter, Terri Greathouse, West Union, one son, Brad Greathouse and wife Lisa, West Union, three grandchildren, Amanda Greathouse, Robert and Billie Duff, four great grandchildren, one brother, Thurman Blizzard, OK and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Marilyn Conrad, Bryanna Wood and one brother, Richard Blizzard preceded her in death.

Mrs. Greathouse was a former employee for Parkway Foods as a Sales Manager. Bea enjoyed reading, embroidering, crossword puzzles; but most of all spending time with her family.

A memorial service will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 1:00PM with Bill Stewart presiding. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel one hour prior to her service. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Greathouse family.
