Barbara Irons Obituary

Barbara Bobbie Louretta Knight Irons, 75 of West Union (Wabash Addition) departed this life on Saturday, March 26, 2011. She was born in West Union on October 22, 1935 to the late Mae Knight Riddle. Her husband, Paul E. Irons preceded her in death.

Surviving is one daughter, Cynthia L. Hastings, one son, Scott E. Irons both of West Union, one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lee and Charles Nesler, West Union, one brother-in-law, Jim Davis, Endicott, NY two nephews, Ed Nesler, Longs, SC, Dan Davis, Endicott, NY, one niece, Kristina Davis, Endwell, NY and one great nephew and several cousins. One sister, Marilyn Jo Davis preceded her in death.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by West Union Bank and Huron Estates, Romulus, MI.

Bobbie was a self taught artist and an avid reader.

A memorial service will be held in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 7:00PM with Pastor Jim Messenger presiding. Interment will be in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5-7PM on Thursday, March 31, 2011.
