Barbara Ann Dungan

Barbara Ann Dungan, 84 of West Union departed this life on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in Genesis Health Care Center, Glenville. She was born on December 12, 1932 in Maryland a daughter of the late Charles and Grace Greene Moran. She was preceded in death by her husband Basil Dungan.

Surviving are six daughters, Barbara Baldwin, West Union, Janet Kernan and husband Pat, Susan Brady and husband Henry, Bonnie West and husband Richard, Doreen West all of Maryland and Diane Casteel, Glenville, two sons, Casey Dungan and wife Neva, West Union, David Dungan, Louisiana, 28 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren, one sister, Ellen Kidwell, Maryland. Three daughters, Patricia Reamy, Denise Smith, Millie Short and one brother, Charles Moran preceded her in death.

Mrs. Dungan was a former employee of Prince George General Hospital as a License Practical Nurse. She enjoyed writing, working crossword puzzles and yard sales.

The family will receive friends in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 11AM to 1PM. Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 2:30PM in the W.V. National Cemetery, Pruntytown. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Dungan family.
