Allan Leo Rush

Allan Leo Rush, 74 of West Union departed this life on Monday, April 23, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 10, 1943 in West Union to the late Harry and Opal Gray Rush. On March 10, 1967 he married Fatima "Tina" Leon Rush who survives.



Also surviving are one son, James "Jim" Rush, Morgantown, one sister, JoAnne McConnell, West Union, two nieces, Debbie Ferrell and husband Dave, Mary McConnell, both of West Union.



Mr. Rush was retired from the W. V. Department of Highways with over 30 years service. He was a member of the Smithburg United Methodist Church and Friendship Lodge #56 AF & AM. Allan enjoyed fishing, hunting and all outdoor activities. He was a loving husband, father and brother and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.



At his request Allan was cremated and there will be no services. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Rush family.
